STEPS | PROCEDURE FOR AIRCRAFT CABIN, FOOD, GARBAGE AND TRASH INSPECTION |
1 – 5 | Refer to Basic requirements |
6 | Inspect cabin for food, regulated articles and insects after passengers have left. |
7 | If insects are found, spray at three times the normal rate and wait for ten minutes. Collect specimens for identification |
8 | Collect any food, plants and animal products |
9 | Arrange for disposal of intercepted material, trash ad garbage and the security of food held on board. |
10a | If the aircraft is terminating – remove all food, garbage and trash andorder its disposal. |
10b | If the aircraft is in transit and locally catered- remove opened food, garbage and trash. Permit food loading. |
10c | if the aircraft is in transit and not locally catered – remove opened food, garbage and trash, and secure other food. Only when all requirements are met can the aircraft be released for the next flight. |
