Treatments that are approved at national level are included as Appendix E.

Currently, only treatments for solid wood packaging are standardised at international level.

Other treatments will be included as they are approved and adopted by the biosecurity service. Currently, countries in the region use treatments that have been found to be effective by other countries. These can be found in:

• the APHIS Treatment Manual 
• the AQIS Treatments in BICON
• NZMPI Approved Biosecurity Treatments
